O Dossiê objetiva reunir um conjunto de trabalhos advindos das Universidades estaduais e municipais filiadas à ABRUEM que discutem a extensão universitária desenvolvida por meio de recursos tecnológicos na atualidade.

    Esta edição da REUPE traz um pouco da evolução da extensão universitária no país, com trabalhos dedicados às comunidades, cada vez mais marcados – a um só tempo – por interdisciplinaridade, articulação com ensino e pesquisa, interprofissionalismo e protagonismo estudantil. O número é composto por um editorial, entrevista com o Prof. Dr. Aurélio Molina e mais cinco artigos. O primeiro deles, reforça a importância da defesa do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS); o segundo, reflete sobre a assistência em enfermagem a pacientes com HIV; já o terceiro, trata da saúde periodontal de pacientes com deficiência visual; o quarto, nos apresenta a experiência de curso de extensão dedicado ao autoconhecimento e autoeducação como premissas para uma vida feliz. E, por último, há o relato de experiência de letramento digital utilizando o aplicativo GlossáBio, explorando-o como ferramenta facilitadora na construção de conhecimentos. A diversidade desses trabalhos traz a riqueza das atividades extensionistas e da reflexão a seu respeito, contribuindo para a democratização da universidade brasileira.
